Christmas calendar and gift boxes

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

I was inspired to make this box calendar by the one in the main catalogue, you can easily remove the lid of each box so I can be used again and again!! And on the plus side I can add three treats to each box meaning no arguments in our house before school, and also I can pop haribos in for Fleur as she has a dairy allergy.

The gift box on the left was made as a swap by jackie and given to us at convention, it did have a chocolate inside but ok I admit it I have eaten it lol x
The gift tags as used on the one at the front are from the christmas mini page 12. At only £3.75 they are a bargain and you get 25 tags which can even be used as toppers for cards. Give me a call if you would like to order any.

Lastly I cased again! This project from the main catalogue! I must admit I love wrapping and packaging Christmas gifts. This one is a little squashed as I found the cat asleep on it, good job it was stuffed with paper as I think she would of been inside it x

Last photo from convention

Today I have woken up with such a bad headache so I haven't yet ventured into my craft studio. So I would like to share my last photo from convention. This is myself and Alison with the lovely Michelle Last, for me it was like meeting a celebrity! I have followed Michelle's blog for years, even before I became a Stampin Up demonstrator, and did I mention we got free bubbly on the plane...just us and a few others!! (sorry Helen x)

Make and takes from convention

Well we had a fun time doing our make and takes at convention! We collected our fabulous Stampin Up bags, I haven't a photo as my middle daughter Niamh has stolen it to use as a school bag!! Her friends think its amazing. Our bag was filled with goodies, a lanyard with our name badges, 2 fabulous stamp sets, a catalogue, programme and a lovely stampin up pen.

We set our selves up in the make and take room and proceeded to start, we were so busy swapping, chatting and laughing that this is what we ended up with!!

Oh yes upside down!! Oh dear, it was at this stage that I put mine away and thought maybe best to do them at home and just enjoy myself. So armed with a cuppa I completed them last night, aren't they divine?

I made a few extra here as I never have any cards to give!

I do love these paper bows and very easy to make too.

Extra helpers!

Well must do some housework

Swaps from convention

Well it took me ages but I really wanted to make my swaps look good. Swapping is so much fun, you just walk around with your box of swaps and approach other demos from the UK, France and Germany and swap. I made 125 but would keep them much more basic next time.

My flower bag tags and pins

Bunting, you can never have too much bunting!

Or birds for that matter...

Owl occasions one of my favorite sets ....

Gift boxes

Team gifts ...it's a needle case for storing pins, needles etc I think the team liked them. We received so many goodies....a convention bag with slippers, notebooks, tissues etc from my upline Helen read. Jackie made us a fantastic recovery kit and included headache pills which I think we all used up! We also came away with 5 new stamps sets!!! Myself And Alison were on a lucky streak all weekend, first we were upgraded to a suite, then we wo the prize patrol...another stamp set! Then we had free breakfast on the last day. To top it all off we received champagne on the flight home!! I arrived home at midnight very giddy.

It was an amazing weekend and I can't wait for next year...

Birthday gift for a friend and a case from convention

This was one of the lovely projects that was demonstrated at convention using the fab perfectly preserved stamp set, available from our autumn winter catalogue until the end of January. My friend Joanna loves this set and has one on order so I thought she may be able to make some of these herself to give to friends. We celebrated our birthdays on Saturday night with a few glasses of wine.
